DAY 1 - Hanoi to Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay (L, D)
Welcoming the new day on the fancy Hideaway cruise in the middle of nowhere on the bay, breakfast will be served from 7:30am to 8:30am.
Get ready for a day excursion. Day boat brings you to the beautiful and quiet areas in Catba national park where you can visit a remote village, where the local people settle down differently.
You start your adventure by cycling through stunning landscapes of the village. During cycling, you pass through the tunnel and traditonal houses along the way.
One of the best part of the day is trekking through the jungle (hiking shoes would be high recommended). On the trekking way, you will stop and You can view the whole village and the bay at the end of the trek.
Back down after the trek, We will have break for lunch and fish massage in the local restaurant at the mountain foot.
Afterward, We heading back to the Hideaway cruise. You will have time to chilling in the Jacuzzis with a beer before meet your new Hideaway mates for sunset party!!!
7:00 - 7:30pm - Dinner time with BBQ dinner will be served and the Party begins afterward!!!
DAY 3 – Halong Bay to Hanoi ( B; L )
Breakfast will serve from 7:30 - 8:30am.
And You don’t have to leave the Hideaway cruise until after lunch, there is still lot's of time to enjoying a slow morning or a lazy hungover lay in. At this time, there is a unique opportunity ( if you wanna take it ) to go kayaking around one of the quietest and nicest part of the bay from 8:30AM to 9:30AM. Then you have 30 - 40 minute for shower and packing before check out the room.
10:30am Lunch time and after your lunch, We begin the trip back to modern society of Hanoi. You will arrive back at the hostels in Hanoi approximately at 4:30pm.
7:30pm: Meeting at our hostel for departure by over night sleeper bus to Ha Giang city and We will arrive about 3:00am. The bus drop you off at our base in Hagiang city, Where We arrange you free bed of the first night in Hagiang. So you can take a rest, shower, then having breakfast before we tart to exploring the loop the next day.
DAY 4: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Du Gia ( approx. 120 km drive + B-L-D) .
After some breakfast, we go out on ‘Road of Happiness’ and start driving north out of Ha Giang City. We climb up the Quan Ba mountain pass and enter the Dong Van Geopark and reach the Heaven’s Gate and pass the Fairy Hills. In or around the small town of Tam Son we find our lunch. Thereafter we venture deep into Ha Giang mountains and reach the picturesque village of Du Gia. Here we will stay with an ethnic minority family at their homestay. We will have dinner and breakfast with the family. (Day includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5: Du Gia – Meo Vac – Nho Que river - Ma Pi Leng – Dong Van ( approx. 110 to 150 km drive +B-L-D ).
We say thanks to the family of the homestay and head north, passing some of the most magnificent mountain passes you will ever have seen, pass the town of Meo Vac (where we take lunch). Then you will take a boat trip on Nho Que river that passes through Tu San Abyss Alley and then runs along Ma Pi Leng. Lastly, you will move up the majestic Ma Pi Leng mountain pass before reaching Dong Van, the most northern town in Vietnam. Back to Dong Van where we take into a hotel or homestay as agreed for the tour. Maybe a Hot Pot for dinner.
Day 6: Dong Van – Sa Phin – Yen Minh – Tam Son – Ha Giang City ( approx. 150 km drive + B-L).
After breakfast, we start our journey south. Soon we reach Sa Phin where we find the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc – the King of H’mong people. We go down the Highland of Stone and reach Yen Minh where we take lunch and then climb a mountain pass covered in pine forest and sweeping rice terraces along our drive. Down to the Song La river valley until the road takes us up to Tam Son, over the Quan Ba mountain pass and back to Ha Giang.
5:00pm: Get on the bus back to Hanoi and have a free bed at hostel, next morning have breakfast before 9:30am at hostel.
